| On Sunday our seniors hosted Monaghan side Doohamlet in the final Ulster league group game.
Against the breeze we struggled for the most of the first half, but only went in two points behind.
In the second half it was well contested, with neither side really taking control. Two great points from Jim Kelly and a Niall Convery goal eventually sealed a 1-10 to 0-8 win for Slaughtneil.
Progress in the Ulster league now hangs by a thread. Clonduff won the group on score difference, so we have to wait to see if we get the best runner-up for a place in the quarter finals.
